Este é o segundo  número da Revista Digital dos Estudantes de Português da Yale.  Você vai encontrar aqui alguns dos trabalhos colaborativos desenvolvidos por nossos alunos de graduação durante o ano acadêmico 2020-2021.

[This is the second issue of the Yale Portuguese Students’ Digital Magazine. You will find some of the collaborative works done by our students during the 2020-2021 academic year]

Todos esses trabalhos são originais, desenvolvidos em sala de aula, e refletem as perspectivas de nossos alunos sobre cultura, arte, sociedade, literatura e artes visuais em língua portuguesa. 

[These are original projects, undertaken in the classroom, reflecting our students’ perspectives on culture, art, society, literature and visual arts in Portuguese.]

Um exemplo são as colagens pelos alunos do terceiro semestre de português. Inspirando-se em artistas afro-descendentes, incluindo Tarsila do Amaral, os estudantes propuseram uma releitura dessas obras em tempos de pandemia..

[An example is the collage created by the students of the first semester of second-year Portuguese. Inspired by afro-descendent artists, including Tarsila do Amaral, the students proposed a new reading of these arts during the pandemic.]

Além de resenhas sobre livros infantis (As bonecas negras de Lara, da escritora Aparecida de Jesus Ferreira), infanto-juvenis (Bisa Bia, Bisa Bel, de Ana Maria Machado), de poesia (de Stela do Patrocínio, Reino dos bichos e dos animais é o meu nome), os estudantes de português criativamente também adaptaram uma leitura teatralizada do conto de Clarice Lispector, “A quinta história”. 

[Besides the essays about picture books, such as As bonecas negras de Lara, by Aparecida de Jesus Ferreira, and Bisa Bia, Bisa Bel, de Ana Maria Machado), and the poetry by Stela do Patrocínio, Reino dos bichos e dos animais é o meu nome), the students of Portuguese creatively performed a theatrical reading of Clarice Lispector’s short story, “A quinta história”. ]

Todos os ensaios, resenhas, clips, podcasts e ilustrações são originais e refletem inteiramente a interpretação dos nossos estudantes. Em comum, o que compartilham não é apenas o desejo de comunicar ideias que descobriram sobre arte, literatura e cultura em língua portuguesa, mas produzir um material autêntico a partir de suas próprias reflexões e experimentações artísticas. Ao ler essa revista digital, você provavelmente vai se interessar por algo que nunca havia pensado antes.

[All essays, reviews, clips, podcasts, songs, and illustrations are original and fully show the interpretation of our students. What the projects share is not only the desire to communicate ideas students have found out about art, literature and culture in Portuguese, but also the desire to produce authentic material from their own reflections and artistic experimentations. Upon reading this digital magazine, you may find you are interested in something you never thought about before.]
