Lab welcomes new rotation student Rahul Gupta.

Rahul Gupta is a first-year graduate student in the MCGD track of the BBS program. He received a B.A. in biological sciences and a B.A. in classical studies from the University of Chicago in June 2022. For his undergraduate work, he examined small non-coding RNAs that maintain genome integrity with Professor Heng-Chi Lee. He also studied covalent modifications of transfer RNAs, sequencing methods to detect these modifications, and their functional relevance with Professor Tao Pan. Rahul is fascinated by the many sophisticated pathways cells use to ensure the accurate flow of genetic information, and is excited to explore these pathways at Yale and in the Wang lab. Outside of the lab, he enjoys reading, playing video games, skiing, building elaborate LEGO sets, stamp and coin collecting, and spending time with family. Welcome to the lab, Rahul!
