Gabriel joins lab for rotation. Welcome Gabriel!

We welcome our second rotation student this year, Gabriel Baldissera from the MCGD track. Gabriel received his B.Sc. in Biological Sciences from UFRGS (Brazil) in early 2020. As an undergraduate student, he explored the molecular diversity of AgRP neurons with Dr. Marcelo Dietrich (Yale) and acquired experience on NGS techniques and data science. After graduating, Gabriel joined Yale as a Postgraduate Associate in the Nicoli lab where he focused his work on understanding the role of miR128 in hematopoiesis through a computational approach. Gabriel is now a first year PhD student in the MCGD track in the BBS program, looking to employ his experience in intersection fields of science. Outside the lab, Gabriel enjoys reading about entrepreneurship and investment, traveling, and doing outdoor activities.
