Organizing an event with Karim Naji is always a great experience and a learning moment for me. Karim Naji led a wonderful workshop in which he demonstrated multiple Arab instruments, using them to communicate the concept of Maqam مقام (modal scale) and Iqa’a ابقاع (rhythmic structure). The workshop witnessed a great turnout and a lot of enthusiasm.
