  • The total time needed to complete the task can be determined by the instructor depending on context.
  • This task can be used as is, or modified for non-heritage learners.
  • This task is suitable for individual, pair, or group work.
  • This task is designed to be modular. Educators have the flexibility to utilize one or two steps or complete all five steps for a more thorough exploration.
  • The task can be adapted to different languages by selecting different materials (AI tools and travel resources).
  • Artwork can be selected based on a theme in order to focus on teaching/learning that particular theme.
  • Depending on students’ preferences, the presentation format can be flexible. Consider using Google Slides, Microsoft PowerPoint, or other presentation software that allows for multimedia elements.
  • Students can be encouraged to be creative and experiment with their presentation style to effectively communicate their ideas.
