Discovering Family Recipes and Cultural Connections

This module will actively engage heritage students in exploring the cultural significance and familial narratives behind their beloved dishes. Students will use AI tools to broaden their food-related vocabulary and interact with AI-generated materials tailored to their learning needs. Following family interviews, students will produce a video presentation spotlighting their favorite homemade dish, thereby shedding light on the personal anecdotes and cultural ties inherent in each recipe. Through a blend of differentiated learning and project-based approaches, students will participate in three modes of communication, promoting comprehensive language development and multiliteracy skills.
