This project culminates in a multimedia presentation showcasing students’ exploration of heritage art through AI reimagination. Here’s a breakdown of the key deliverables:
1. Art Analysis Slide:
- Students will create a presentation slide (or section) dedicated to the chosen artwork from their heritage culture.
- The slide should include:
- A high-quality image of the artwork.
- A brief description of the artwork (title, artist, date, medium).
- Key details about the artwork’s style, subject matter, and any significant symbols or colors.
- Encourage students to draw insights and information from the picture talk activity to enrich their analysis.
2. AI-Generated Images:
- Students will utilize an AI image generation tool to create a minimum of 2-3 images inspired by their chosen artwork.
- They can experiment with different prompts and settings in the AI tool to explore various artistic interpretations.
- The goal is to create images that reimagine the original artwork in new and creative ways.
3. Multimedia Presentation:
- Students will create a multimedia presentation that effectively connects the original artwork and their AI-generated images.
- The presentation should encompass the following elements:
- Engaging Introduction: Introduce the chosen artwork and its cultural context. Briefly mention insights gained from the picture talk activity (optional).
- Explanation of AI Images: Clearly explain the artistic choices made in the AI-generated images and how they connect to the original artwork.
- Creative Narrative Element:
- This can be a fictional story inspired by the artwork.
- Or, it can be a comparison between the original and AI-generated versions, highlighting themes and symbolism.
- Visuals: Include images and videos throughout the presentation to support their analysis and story. These can include:
- The high-quality image of the original artwork.
- Each of the AI-generated images they created.
- Any other relevant visuals that enhance their presentation (optional).
