Vocabulary and Understanding :

    • Picture Talk Participation :
      • During the class picture talk activity, assess students’ ability to:
        • Use basic vocabulary related to art analysis (e.g., colors, shapes, composition).
        • Ask and answer questions about the chosen artwork using complete sentences.
        • Contribute observations and interpretations using appropriate descriptive language.
    • Art Analysis Slide :
      • Evaluate the vocabulary used in the student’s presentation slide to describe the chosen artwork (e.g., style, subject matter, symbols).
    • Presentation Delivery:
      • Assess students’ use of vocabulary related to art and AI technology during their presentation.
    • Creative Writing :
      • Evaluate the vocabulary used in the student’s creative writing piece to depict the artwork and its reimagined versions.

Grammar and Accuracy:

    • Art Analysis Slide:
    • Assess the grammatical accuracy of sentences used in the student’s presentation slide to describe the artwork.
    • Presentation Delivery:
      • Evaluate students’ use of correct verb tenses and sentence structures during their presentation.
    • Creative Writing:
      • Assess the student’s creative writing piece for proper sentence structure, verb conjugation, and agreement.

Communication and Creativity:

      • Picture Talk Participation:
        • Evaluate students’ ability to communicate their ideas clearly and concisely during the picture talk activity.
      • Presentation Delivery:
        • Assess the organization and clarity of the student’s presentation.
        • Evaluate the student’s ability to effectively explain the connection between the original artwork and their AI-generated images.
      • Creative Writing:
        • Assess the student’s creativity and originality in their written piece inspired by the artwork.
        • Evaluate the student’s ability to develop a clear narrative or thematic connection between the original and AI-generated versions.

Cultural Awareness:

      • Art Analysis Slide :
        • Assess if the student’s presentation slide demonstrates an understanding of the historical or cultural context surrounding the chosen artwork.
      • Presentation Delivery:
        • Evaluate if the student incorporates any cultural references or insights into their presentation about the artwork.
        • Assess if the student demonstrates an appreciation for the connection between traditional and contemporary artistic expressions through their AI reimaginations.
      • Creative Writing :
        • Evaluate if the student’s creative writing piece reflects an understanding of the cultural significance of the chosen artwork.
        • Assess if the student uses language that conveys a sense of cultural identity or heritage in their writing.
