This site was made over the course of a semester by the students of Professor Elihu Rubin’s ARCH 347b.
Instead of representing a private communication with the instructor or within a course, this is a public service project.
- Students researched, analyzed and wrote about the infrastructure of the city of New Haven.
- It’s written and designed for the people of the city to understand what makes their city run.
Instead of a chronological organization, this site is organized like a book.
- There’s an introduction, chapters and an afterward.
- The chapters have a nice navigational structure, so the user can click around as easily as you flip the pages in a book.
