Bio:
I am a 2nd year Chemistry PhD student on the Chemical Biology track. I have always loved chemistry but view it as most useful and interesting when it is applied to biological systems. I recently joined the Strobel Lab which is largely focused in RNA structural research. I think I will gain a skillset that will make me marketable for a future in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. Outside of lab I play a lot of volleyball, ride my bike, see friends, and watch plenty of Netflix. Over the past year, I have learned a lot about adapting to life in graduate school. The things that stick out to me are being self-sufficient, advocating for myself and my values, and talking to as many people as possible. I have grown a lot during my time at Yale and am not far removed from the undergrad to grad-student transition. I hope to help in any way I can!
