GUMI’s first ever in-person event! Mentors were invited to mix and mingle with potential mentees, and undergraduates were invited to meet potential mentors. Open to all disciplines/departments/fields!

        

Applying to Graduate School & Beyond

Panel co-hosted with Y-BioIncubate and Yale Society of Women Engineers. Panelists included GUMI mentors who discussed the grad school application process and the various options/pathways one can take after graduate school.

Women in STEM

Panel event co-hosted with the Yale Young Global Scholars Summer program for high school students. Panel consisted of GUMI graduate mentors discussing their experiences and biases faced as women in STEM.

College Life: How Did We Get Here?

Panel event co-hosted with Office of New Haven Affairs. Panel consisted of both undergraduates and GUMI graduate mentors who shared their experiences transitioning from highschool to college and beyond. Audience was New Haven high schoolers.
