Lewis Walpole Library new acquisition: July, 2010
Dear Sirs,
I recently purchased an old framed and colored etching by G. Cruikshank in an upstate antique mill.. Published by G. Humphrey in 1820, “A Sketch in the island of Anglesea.” When I researched this I noticed your Lewis Walpole Library acquired what appears to be the same etching.
Can you advise its approximate value and any historical info of interest that you acquired?
Thank you,
Michael Isaac
