We are thrilled to welcome our first rotation student Harry Jung in the 2022-2023 academic year! Harry is a first year Ph.D. student in the BQBS track of the BBS program. He received his bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from SUNY Stony Brook University in 2022. Under the supervision of Dr. Dongyan Tan, his undergraduate research aimed to understand the impact of histone variants on chromatin compaction and gene expression through various structural methods such as cryo-EM. At Yale and in the Wang lab, Harry seeks to build upon his knowledge of chromatin biology and implement his engineering background. In his spare time, Harry enjoys bouldering, video games, and working out. Welcome, Harry!!
