The meeting at Yale will be the third Himalayan Studies Conference (HSC) organised by the ANHS.
HSC 1 was convened by Arjun Guneratne at Macalester College, Saint Paul, MN, in October 2011.
HSC 2 was convened by Mahendra Lawoti at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan, in September 2012.
