1. A 1925 map showing the plans for two proposed 18 golf courses at Yale. The map is very similar to the topographical map found on page 252 of Charles Blair Macdonald’s Scotland’s Gift: Golf. A significant difference is that the map in the Macdonald book shows only the 18-hole course that was built in 1925-1926, while this map also lays out a “course number two to be built in the future.” This map was in the possession of Dr. William Anderson, who brought it to our attention and has very kindly presented it as a donation to the Department of Athletics. It is now on display at the Pro Shop.
