Other initiatives resembling Faculty for Yale have sprung up, as noted below, mostly since 2023. These initiatives vary, and they have narrower or broader foci, institutional sponsorship or organic origins, and longer or shorter histories. But all of them have been animated by similar concerns related to the fundamental mission and commitments of a university.
