One of the main parts of this project was collecting open-ended interviews with a broad and representative cross section of people in Phú Mỹ Hưng and Thủ Thiêm. We conducted over 300 interviews from 2010 to 2012. This page links to some short excerpts of our interviews. These interviews will offer insight into what the words civilization and civility mean to a range of social actors. They will also provide concrete examples of how these concepts inform the way the residents construct and live in the urban landscape of a dynamic and rapidly changing city.
