Vietnam loves civility (văn minh). Everywhere you look, you will encounter the term văn minh. In this series of blog postings, I seek to begin a collection of images of civility in everyday life. The project will begin simply by collecting and documenting the appearance of the term in public spaces. As it progresses, I hope to being a process of analysis in which the variegated meanings of the term begin to make sense through contextual usage.
