Abby was born and raised on Long Island, New York. She attended Stony Brook University where she did Molecular Dynamics simulations of phosphorylated amino acids and the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein under Dr. Carlos Simmerling. Outside of chemistry, Abby enjoys going to the gym, traveling and watching baseball.
