I was born and raised in the multicultural city of Thessaloniki, Greece. I have also lived in Germany and France. Since 2006, I have worked in the United States. Currently, I am Senior Lector at the Hellenic Studies Program at Yale University. Besides research and teaching, I am passionate about classical guitar, dance, and exquisite meals.
