I am a 4th year PhD Candidate in the Department of Statistics at Yale university and currently a visiting scholar at the University of Cambridge. I received a BS in Mathematics (Cum Laude) from the University of Utah in 2012 and MA in Statistics from Yale University in 2014.

I am interested in Bayesian Analysis, Network data sampling, and Machine learning. My dissertation work focuses specifically on quantifying the bias in sample estimates generated using network driven sampling techniques.

I am also interested in computational social science and applying advanced statistical techniques to help inform evidence-based decision-making around important societal issues. For example, I currently work as a data scientist for the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication and consult for the Princeton Social and Environmental Decision-Making Lab. In the past, I’ve worked as a statistical consultant for the Yale Center for Science and Social Science Information and as a data scientist for Audible, Inc., an Amazon company.
