Bezà Mahafaly protects forests and wildlife in southwest Madagascar, and is a center for research, training and education.
The Bezà Mahafaly Reserve is managed by Madagascar National Parks in partnership with the Commune of Ankazombalala and the Forestry Department of the School of Agronomy (ESSA-Forêts), University of Antananarivo. Bezà Mahafaly is supported by the Liz Claiborne Art Ortenberg Foundation (USA) through the Tany Meva Foundation.
