Tiffany Lu
Tiffany documented “Life Histories” of residents at Leeway, Inc., the first and only nursing facility dedicated to AIDS care in Connecticut. She built relationships with several of the female residents, writing short biographies of four of the women and recording the oral autobiography of a fifth woman.
Shannon Stockdale
Shannon sought to address the health of Vietnamese nail salon workers, as continual use of nail salon products can pose significant reproductive health dangers. She worked directly with Vietnamese women in the New Haven community, providing education and alternate nail products. She also conducted a series of presentations to educate Yale students about this issue.
