There are several hotels within walking distance of Yale (and the department and the workshop venue) where you can stay for the conference. For some of these (Courtyard by Marriott and New Haven Hotel), Priceline offers pretty good rates, lower than the ones directly obtained from the hotel, so we recommend that you check prices there.
