The MacMillan Comparative Politics Workshop is a forum for work in progress by Yale faculty and graduate students, as well as scholars from other universities. The workshop’s methodological and substantive range is broad, and we aim to discuss the best research in the field.

The workshop meets on Tuesdays between 12:00 p.m. and 1:20 p.m. in Room 202, 34 Hillhouse Avenue  (Luce Hall). Authors provide a presentation of their work, which is followed by a question and answer session. Papers are distributed one week prior to the workshop and are read in advance by attendees.

The workshop faculty directors for the 2018-2019 academic year are Kate Baldwin, Elizabeth Nugent, and Daniel Mattingly. The graduate student coordinator is Hilary Matfess.
