James is a senior in Saybrook College at Yale, majoring in Neuroscience. He previously earned his master’s in music with a focus on violin performance and frequently performs at the Connecticut Hospice, combining his love for music with volunteer work. Outside the classroom, James has served as concertmaster of the Yale Symphony Orchestra for two years and enjoys staying active through weightlifting and swimming. He is also an avid landscape and portrait photographer.

Zach Moynihan, Branford ‘25

Zach is a Neuroscience major and pre-med from northeast Massachusetts. Zach also has a French certificate and is pursuing one in Education Studies. Outside class, he tutors at a local middle school, conducts research in a neurosurgery lab at the med school, and sings in the choir at St. Thomas More. He is also the president of YNEURO, Yale’s neuroscience club, and edits for L’Amuse-Bouche, Yale’s undergraduate French-language journal. In his free time, Zach loves to run, play Sudoku, and lounge in the Branford Courtyard.

Maxim is a senior at Berkeley College pursuing a BS/MS in MCDB. As treasurer, his goal is to promote a better community at YUCH, within shifts, and with the hospice through team bonding events and gifts to nurses. Maxim is involved in many volunteering and teaching initiatives at Yale, including peer tutoring pre-med classes, making patient connections at the Connecticut Hospice or YNHH, and teaching at local elementary schools through MedSci. Outside of school, he is usually playing chess, figuring out how to run, and playing low-quality basketball.

Levi is a junior in Davenport, majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, and is from Clinton, NC. Outside of CT Hospice, he volunteers at HAVEN Free Clinic, conducts research at the Van Wolfswinkel Lab, and enjoys longboarding. He is excited to serve as Director of Training and shift Coordination this semester.

Mia Gawith, Hopper ‘26

Mia Gawith is a junior in Hopper pursuing a B.S. in MCDB on the pre-med track. As the Director of Outreach & Advocacy, her hope is to advance YUCH’s mission and inspire others to join the community. Outside of YUCH, Mia conducts research in the Rogers Lab at the Yale School of Medicine, edits for the Yale Scientific Magazine, works as a student EMT, and peer tutors for the introductory biology sequence. In her free time, she loves to binge-watch Netflix, search for new books to read, and curate her Spotify playlists.
