On June 30, 2020, Governor Lamont extended protections for residential renters affected by COVID-19 under Executive Order 7DDD.
That executive order extends the moratorium on residential evictions to August 25 for all renters who were current with rent payments as of February 29, 2020.

my rent payment due date is 1st to 10th of each month but in July I had low income and I am not able to pay my August rent on time. I have six (6) kids and I spent some money on their dresses etc also for the long time the are not schooling and sit free at home, can you help me in this regards

The Connecticut Department of Housing (DOH) announced that its new Temporary Rental Housing Assistance Program (TRHAP) will accept applications starting 8AM on July 15, 2020.
How to apply:
Call 1-860-785-3111 and speak to a Call Center Representative to find out if you are eligible for rental assistance
DOH will review the information and, if you qualify, assign you to the appropriate Housing Counseling Agency (HCA)
The HCA will contact and work with you to complete the full application
TRHAP has a number of eligibility requirements – if you have questions about whether you qualify for
assistance, you should call 1-860-785-3111 and speak to a Call Center Representative
Take notes of who you talk to & when, and save all paperwork or responses you get from TRHAP
