DECEMBER FOOD DISTRIBUTION
Wednesday, December 28, 2022, 2 PM – 4 PM
In partnership with Beulah Heights, Cathedral of High Praise, CT Foodshare, New Haven Public Schools, Loaves and Fishes, the NICE Center, and Witness to Hunger, United Way of Greater New Haven will be hosting four free food distributions at sites across New Haven to help students experiencing food insecurity on Wednesday, December 28th from 2 PM – 4 PM.
SITES:
- Truman School, 114 Truman Street
- Lincoln Bassett School, 21 Butler Street
- The Shack, West Hills Community Center, 333 Valley St.
- John Martinez School, 100 James Street

Get your 2022 Child Tax Rebate!
The child tax rebate, which was recently authorized by the Connecticut General Assembly and is intended to help Connecticut families with children. You may be eligible for a child tax rebate of up to a maximum of $750 ($250 per child up to three children).
To be eligible for this rebate you must meet all of the following requirements:
- You must be a resident of Connecticut;
- You must have claimed at least one child as a dependent on your 2021 federal income tax return who was 18 years of age or younger; and
- You must meet certain income thresholds.
