I had wanted to visit the Isle of Skye for a long time, and in September of 2007 I had the opportunity to go there for a few days and also see a bit of the rest of western Scotland. (Click the sub-tabs above or the names below.)

Argyll: A little to the northwest of Glasgow, on the way to Skye.

Skye: An island of the western highlands with a nice mix of scenery.

Glasgow: home base while in Scotland.

Ayrshire: on Scotland’s southwest coast, and very different from the highlands.
