Miscellaneous: Some old and new personal photos that may find their own categories eventually.
Artists’ Work: Photography done for artists of their work.
Cover Shots: I’ve had a few book and magazine cover shots over the years.
The Albers Collection of Pre-Columbian Art: In 1987 The Josef Albers Foundation commissioned me to photograph the collection of pre-columbian artifacts assembled by the artist and his wife Anni. The 296 photographs were used to illustrate a 176-page catalog of the collection, written by Karl Taube and published by the Hudson Hills Press in 1988.
A Photographic Atlas for Physical Anthropology: For my photographic work, I was credited as a co-author for this 330-page textbook, published in 2004. Making the hundreds of pictures of modern and fossil human and other primate bones took three years.
Caribbean Reef Guide: I am working on a guide to Caribbean coral reefs using pictures I took many years ago when they were healthier, doing all the writing and layout myself. It’s going slowly, but here are some of the pictures.
