Shimon Anisfeld is on the faculty of the Yale School of the Environment, where he is a Senior Lecturer II and Research Scientist. He teaches courses in water management, coastal ecosystems, and physical science foundations for environmental managers, and carries out research on the response of salt marshes to climate change. He hopes that this website (and the associated book) can help students, practitioners, and citizens understand the complexities of water management and ultimately play a small part in the transition to a more just and sustainable world.
