Mission Statement

Founded in 2024, The Undergraduate Journal of Digital Humanities is the first digital humanities publication for undergraduates. Based at Yale University, we are dedicated to publishing student research in the field at a time when digital technologies are becoming increasingly important in society, academia, and global affairs.

Reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of the digital humanities, we adopt an expansive definition of what it can be, and promote scholarship in a variety of disciplines such as English, computer science, political science, and art history. We accept submissions engaging with new media, digital information, and digital culture. We encourage both quantitative and qualitative methods.
