Latino Films Screening in Topeka

Come join us on July 23 and July 30 at 2:00 pm at the Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site to watch two documentaries about Latino identity in the United States: No más bebés and Precious Knowledge. A small reception will be held before the screening and a Q&A with Virginia Espino, the film’s producer, will be held after the film. Additionally, Kansas House of Representative members John Alcala, Ponka-We Victors, Louis Ruiz, and Valdenia Winn will be part of a panel discussing the state of ethnic studies in Kansas.
