Tanvi is an interdisciplinary Political Science major and Global Health Scholar from Columbia, SC with a concentration in health policy. She is interested in the intersections between population health, sociology, and political science. She hopes to positively change both the way we approach minimizing the effects of the social determinants of health and emergency response health policy. She is actively involved in two global health research projects at Yale, one on medication pricing transparency and the other on behavioral insights into vaccination uptake. Outside of class, she is the Director for Camp Kesem at Yale, a member of Rangeela – Yale’s premier Bollywood dance group, an EMT with Yale EMS, a student organization consultant, and a member of Whaling Crew. She loves to spend time with friends, do Yoga, go to sporting events, travel, and pursue her passion for photography! With SHEA, Tanvi works on STEM reform, YSM demands and publishing student-written articles.
