Spring 2017, we took our readings about community learning to the field by creating an outreach opportunity for the community our city.

Seeing my advanced students enjoy and grow with a volunteer opportunity was an opportunity for me to learn and grow.

Project description:

• 2 lessons in Arabic
• led by Yale instructor with the support of undergraduate student volunteers
• each lesson 60 minutes
• free participation
• for the children of New Haven (ages: 6-12)
• at the New Haven Public Library
