I am a visiting scholar in the Institute for Security and Conflict Studies and a lecturer of international affairs at the Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University. I received my Ph.D. in political science from Yale University in 2021. I’ve previously held fellowships at the Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University, the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University, the MacMillan Center Program on Japanese Politics and Diplomacy at Yale University, and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. I’m also an alum (2017) of the Summer Workshop on the Analysis of Military Operations and Strategy (SWAMOS). I graduated with an M.A. in security studies from Georgetown University in 2012 and with a B.A. in political science and international relations from the University of British Columbia in 2010.
