Yang obtained her BSc at Lanzhou University, China in 2012. She received her masters at Université de Rennes 1 in 2014, under the supervision of Dr. Mathieu Achard and Dr. Christian Bruneau with a Fondation Rennes 1 Fellowship. Then, she completed her Ph.D. at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland, under the supervision of Prof. Nicolai Cramer. In 2019, she joined the Newhouse group as a postdoc fellow with the Swiss National Science Foundation Scholarship. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling around and cooking Chinese food.
