A discussion with Prashant Jha and Anagha Neelakantan

Prashant Jha is a political writer for The Kathmandu Post and the Nepal correspondent of The Hindu newspaper. He has covered Nepal’s peace process, the transformation of the Maoists, politics in the Tarai plains, constitutional debates, Nepal-India relations, and international involvement in Nepali politics extensively. He has been a weekly columnist for the Nepali Times; a contributing editor for Himal Southasian magazine; an analyst with International Crisis Group; and has written for several Indian and international publications.

Anagha Neelakantan is a Senior Analyst with International Crisis Group. She covers Nepal’s peace process from various angles, including security sector and Maoist army issues, constitution drafting, identity politics, national political dynamics, international engagement and human rights issues. Anagha has worked in Nepal for over a decade, including as editor of Nepali Times and with the political office of the United Nations Mission in Nepal.
