Dear Colleagues,
The Yale Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), in partnership with the Bass Library and ITS, is offering sets of iPad Airs (32GB, WI-Fi-only) and iPad minis (16GB, WI-Fi-only) for instructional use during the spring 2016 semester. Yale faculty members interested in using the iPads are asked to submit a CTL consultation request form by Friday, December 11, 2015, describing how they and their students will use the iPads in support of a Yale course. Please provide your course title, course number, anticipated number of students and TFs, and pedagogical activities you hope to achieve using the iPads in the General Information field of the form.
Preference will be given to proposals that involve innovative applications of this technology to achieve course learning goals. More information and examples of instructional uses of iPads from past recipients can also be found on the Mobile@Yale site.
General programmatic questions can be addressed to either Lauren King from the Bass Library, or Matthew Regan from the Center for Teaching and Learning.
Regards,
Matthew Regan
