AirParrot is a program that allows Windows computers and older Mac computers to connect to a projected screen via the AirPlay protocol using an Apple TV. The Windows version of the app can now be downloaded from the Yale Software Library page, while the Mac version can be downloaded directly from the AirParrot site (contact ITG for a license key). Connect your computer and Apple TV to the “yale wireless” or “YaleSecure” network.* |

Download and install the AirParrot client to your computer depending upon your operating system:

Launch the application. |

Allow the program access if prompted. |
||
Find the AirParrot icon and select the Apple TV of choice (for Windows clients, right-click icon to display menu). |

Enter the Apple TV AirPlay password if prompted. |

Once connected, the Mac or PC monitor will display on the projected screen. Click the AirParrot icon for more options or to disconnect. A check mark will appear next to the connected Apple TV. |
