I am not a fan of rain and it essentially was omnipresent as I “studied” for my midterm. To be honest, at this point, I cannot study Korean anymore. I need to use and practice it in order to see any gains. It makes sense, too. I’ve hit a point in the language where I can deduce meanings from readings pretty well and can understand the bulk of the everyday speech I hear. I’ve been trying more regularly to just throw in random idiomatic phrases and such to make daily speech more natural. It’s been a decent effort and I am hoping that it picks up.
Alright, getting back to the rain. I think it would be cognitively painful to say that it was simply just rain. My eyes did not deceive me. The air was actually thick. Thick with smog. 🙁
