“My name is Domenic, and I also go by the names Layla and Tiresias. I am a visual artist, primarily working with paint, linoleum carving, and video. I’m currently in my third year at Yale where I’m pursuing an undergraduate degree in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. After I graduate, I want to leave the United States for a while. I think I might like to pursue a graduate degree abroad—maybe in film production. I’m also interested in becoming a public school teacher, teaching English as a Second Language, and social work. Other than my beginner Spanish knowledge, I have some experience speaking French and I am also studying Arabic.
