I’m Lloyd D. Grieger, Assistant Professor of Sociology and Global Affairs at Yale University.

My research and teaching interests include: social demography; poverty, affluence and inequality; sociology of the family; social stratification; social welfare policy; young adulthood; and quantitative methods.

I am the Director of Graduate Studies at the Jackson Institute for Global Affairs and Faculty Fellow of the Center for Research on Inequalities and the Life Course. I am also the Resident Fellow of Grace Hopper College.
