A collection of autographs of British authors, politicians, bishops including: a letter from Horace Walpole to Thomas Powell (30 Dec. 1774), Madame Piozzi, Benjamin West, the Duke of Wellington, Bishop of Canterbury, Duke of Clarence (later King William IV), Queen of the Sandwich Islands, Tennyson, Dr. Selwyn Bishop of New Zealand, Thomas Hughes, Elizabeth Sewell, Edward Pusey as well as many other British authors and poets of the early 19th century. ~ A collection Free Franks, collected on letters addressed to Rev. George May and Sir Henry Martin and his family.
