Welcome to the Latinx Ivy League Conference website! Yale is excited to host this year’s LILC. This year’s conference theme is #YoTambién to represent the stories of the marginalized groups within the Latinx community.
On April 7, 2017, Yale will host the Latinx Ivy League Conference (LILC) for the first time. In its sixth year, this conference invites the next generation of Latinx leaders and students to engage in critical dialogue on issues affecting our community. Throughout the conference, we will work together to build networks that will last a lifetime.
This year, the theme of our conference is #YoTambién: I, too, Am Latinx. As the title suggests, we aim to bring forward the “x” in “Latinx” by amplifying the voices of the most marginalized within our community. For three days, students will participate in interactive workshops, panels, and networking events. The conference will culminate with a gala that will celebrate the achievements of Latinx students and leaders across the country, and include performances by Yale’s talented Latinx groups.
On this website you can find more information on housing, conference schedule, delegation information, and more. We look forward to meeting all of you on April 7-9th, and please do not hesitate to reach out!
