BIOGRAPHY

Pavlovic’s doctoral dissertation aims to explain Al-Qaeda’s strategic behavior and organizational structures within the context of a broader theory of revolutionary terrorism and millenarian movements.  

Pavlovic served as a Visiting Assistant in Research at the Political Science department at the Order, Conflict and Violence Program, a Teaching Fellow at both undergraduate and graduate levels and Research Consultant at Yale University.  

Pavlovic is the Fellow of the “Research and Travel Award in Grand Strategy” from International Security Studies (ISS) at Yale University  (2012) , Fellow of the Hertog Global Strategy Initiative in Religious Violence at Columbia University (2012), a Doctoral candidate in Political Conflict and Peace Building Processes at Complutense University in Madrid, Fellow of the OSI Global Supplementary Grant Program, and a Visiting Doctoral Fellow at the Juan March Institute. 

Pavlovic is the Founder of The Pavlovic Today (www.thepavlovictoday.com) .The Pavlovic Today is a Media Hub for a Fragmented Society. Her media platform strives to promote intellectual substance and the  spirit of authentic storytelling. Through an uninhibited discussion, the Pavlovic Today seeks to create social cohesion and to promote cross-generational understanding and cooperation.

She holds an M.Sc. in European Politics from the London School of Economics, an M.A. in American Politics, and a B.A. in Journalism and Communication from the University of Belgrade. 

She speaks fluent English, Spanish, Serbian and Croatian.
