
Joshua Warren is a Professor in the Department of Biostatistics at the Yale School of Public Health. He received his Ph.D. in Statistics from North Carolina State University in 2011 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Biostatistics at UNC Chapel Hill before joining the Yale faculty in 2014. Dr. Warren’s research focuses on developing hierarchical Bayesian methods for (i) spatial and spatiotemporal data, (ii) assessing the impact of environmental exposures on human health, and (iii) characterizing the spread of infectious diseases. He is also engaged in collaborative work applying spatiotemporal models in medicine and public health. His methodological interests include spatial and spatiotemporal modeling as well as Bayesian nonparametrics.
