Inspiring Yale was an evening arranged by the Yale Graduate and Professional Student Senate in which faculty drawn from all of Yale’s graduate schools and each of the divisions of the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences gave TED-style talks. What made it particularly special was that the faculty were chosen by graduate students via online ballot. I was honored to have been elected to represent the Humanities. The whole thing was actually very inspring. The organizers have since posted all the talks online, and if you are at all interested, you should check out the other superb speakers.
