I’m an Associate Professor in the Department of Linguistics, director of the Phonetics Laboratory, and Associate Editor of Laboratory Phonology. I am also affiliated with the Yale Institute for Foundations of Data Science and the Wu Tsai Institute for the study of cognition.

Before coming to Yale in 2016, I did a PhD in linguistics at New York University and was a faculty member at Western Sydney University in Australia.

In 2015-2016, I was in Tokyo working at Keio University on a JSPS Fellowship.
