2020 Discovery Days

The Ivy Plus Libraries Discovery Day conference was started to create a collaborative community among the Ivy Plus library staff working to implement, evaluate, improve, support, and teach discovery services. This year, the conference spanned multiple days and transformed to an online experience.

  • 3/2/2021: Remote User Research and Testing: A panel of 3 institutions discussed the transition to remote user research and testing in 2020. 
  • 1/21/2021: Replacing Subject Headings in Discovery. A panel of 4 institutions discussed their experiences, motivations, challenges, procedures, ideas, and thoughts on the topic of replacing subject headings in discovery systems. Panelists included:
